About This Role
Aerowest, one of Germany's most versatile charter airlines (based at Hanover Airport), is hiring a Captain for its Cessna Citation XLS+ executive-jet fleet. The role flies executive-charter and air-ambulance missions throughout Europe and beyond, with flight preparation and execution carried out to Aerowest's own standards in close cooperation with the crew and Aerowest Operations. It is a full-time, permanent position offering an open base within Germany and a fixed annual salary of €84,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As Captain you fly a modern fleet of new Cessna Citation XLS+ jets on executive-charter and air-ambulance missions across Europe and further afield.
- The work is varied, with demanding missions and constantly changing requirements.
- You prepare and conduct flights to Aerowest standards, work professionally with your crew and Aerowest Operations, and ensure customers a safe and comfortable flight experience.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold a valid ATPL(A) and an existing C56X (Citation Excel/XLS) type rating, with at least 500 hours of jet experience.
- A valid, unrestricted EU passport is required, along with a valid German aviation security background check (ZÜP) and a Class B driving licence.
- Candidates need fluent German and English (further languages are an advantage), good manners, a well-groomed appearance and physical fitness, plus a high level of service orientation, reliability and flexibility.
