About This Role
Medway Air Ambulance (MedHealth Partners), a leading US provider of fixed-wing air ambulance services, is hiring a Second in Command (First Officer) to fly its Lear 35/45 aircraft transporting patients to the next level of care. The position is home-based on an 8-days-on / 6-days-off rotation with no commuting required on hard days off. Candidates must be mission-focused, patient-advocacy-minded pilots comfortable with the demands of healthcare-driven medical transport.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate as Second in Command on Lear 35/45 fixed-wing air ambulance missions, safely transporting patients to the next level of care on their medical journey.
- Work varying duty slots including day and night, weekdays, weekends and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adjust to rapid changes.
- Maintain a professional appearance and strong oral and written communication skills, and be able to lift and move 50+ lbs in support of patient transport operations.

Requirements
- Requires 1,000 hours total flight time and current Commercial, Instrument and Multi-Engine Land ratings.
- Must hold a current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate, an FCC Radio Operator License, a valid state driver's license, and a valid passport allowing unrestricted international travel.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel in and out of the country without restriction, and must pass TSA-required background screening and obtain the appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Applicants must upload a passport, pilot license, FCC Radio Operator Permit, First Class Medical Certificate and driver's license with the application to be considered.
- Must be able to work varying duty slots including day and night, weekdays, weekends and holidays, be extremely flexible, maintain a professional appearance, and be able to lift and move 50+ lbs.
- Preferred but not required: 100 hours turbine or multi-engine time, Part 135 or flight instructor experience, and Learjet or similar aircraft experience.
