About This Role
Jet Linx Aviation is seeking a full-time Pilot in Command for Falcon 900EX heavy-jet operations conducted under Part 91 and Part 135. The PIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant operation of company aircraft. The position is commutable within the USA, but the pilot must live or be willing to relocate within a two-hour callout of the assigned home base. The role includes flight scheduling and rest-management responsibilities, extensive company communications, electronic flight bag administration, document and chart currency, international travel, and work around aircraft and terminals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares for and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Duties include managing duty, flight, and rest periods in accordance with company requirements and applicable CFRs
- maintaining communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining and managing electronic flight bag hardware and applications
- and ensuring that navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current. The PIC is also expected to demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making and represent Jet Linx core values in all interactions. Most work takes place in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
What We Offer
The position offers a starting base annual salary of $195,000 to $251,000, with the actual amount dependent on geographic location, aircraft size and crew position, relevant education, training, and experience. Requirements
- Minimum requirements are 3,500 hours total time, 2,000 hours total PIC time, 250 hours total time in type, 250 hours PIC time in type, 1,500 hours total multi-engine time, 500 hours total multi-engine PIC time, 500 hours total turbine time, and 300 hours total instrument time. Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the previous 24 months is preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. driver's license, provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, hold a current passport, be able to obtain an ATP, maintain a first-class medical certificate, and hold an FCC Restricted Radio License. Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug and alcohol testing requirements for safety-sensitive personnel. The position requires unrestricted ability to travel to EU, Canadian, and Caribbean destinations
- the ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot
- and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. The pilot must be able to work around aircraft and aircraft terminals and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
