Northeastern Aviation is recruiting an experienced Learjet 60XR Captain for a flight department supporting Bond-Coat, a privately held oil-and-gas-sector company focused on corrosion-prevention technologies. The position is based in Odessa, Texas, and is intended for pilots seeking stability and a professional operating environment; candidates must live in Houston or within commuting distance of Odessa or Midland.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as an experienced Learjet 60XR Captain in the company's flight department based in Odessa, Texas, supporting Bond-Coat's privately held oil-and-gas-sector business.
- The role calls for strong communication and leadership, professional collaboration, and effective use of Microsoft Office and iPad-based aviation applications.
- Part 91 contract pilot opportunities may also be considered.
What We Offer
The compensation package includes a competitive salary commensurate with experience, an annual bonus opportunity, and per diem.The scheduling package provides ten hard days off per month, scheduled at the pilot's discretion, plus ten sick days annually.
Requirements
- Applicants must have at least 2,500 hours of total flight time, at least 1,000 hours of turbine time, and an unrestricted ATP Certificate.
- The posting also requires a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate, valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit, valid passport, valid driver's license, fluent written and spoken English, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and iPad-based aviation applications.
- Candidates must have similar-role experience, successfully complete a 10-year background investigation, pre-employment drug screen, and Criminal History Records Check, freely enter and exit all countries where company flight operations are conducted, and have legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Candidates must reside in Houston or within commuting distance of Odessa/Midland.
