About This Role
SkyShare Part 91 managed-aircraft Captain flying a single-pilot Citation CJ for a private owner. Position is based in Georgia at Covington Municipal Airport (CVC), with plans to relocate to Greene County Regional Airport (CPP). Salary $160,000-$180,000/year; dedicated aircraft, fluid owner-driven schedule with 8 hard days off per month.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices. Perform flight duties for up to 14 hours per day during trips for as many as 8 consecutive days, often crossing multiple time zones. Exhibit a safety-first mindset
- strong decision-making and problem-solving. Occasional lifting of objects up to 80 pounds. Competent in working with animals before, during, and after flights. Dedicated aircraft position supporting a private owner.
Requirements
- Must have recent single-pilot jet experience.
- Minimum 2800 hours total flight time, including: 250 hours as PIC, 500 hours of multi, 300 hours of jet, 200 hours of instrument.
- FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate category and class.
- Valid FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- FAA Instrument Rating.
- Valid U.S. passport and driver's license.
- Current IFR knowledge and experience.
- Garmin 1000/3000 preferred.
- Prior Part 135 experience preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to pass TSA background checks and secure an appropriate SIDA badge when applicable.
