About This Role
Boutique Air is hiring Second-in-Command (First Officer) pilots to fly the Pilatus PC-12 across the United States under Part 135 charter and Essential Air Service operations. The single-engine turboprop is flown in both executive and commuter configurations on scheduled airline service, using a two-crew operation built around Crew Resource Management, checklists, callouts, flows and standardized Standard Operating Practices. Domiciles are Boston (KBOS), Dallas-Fort Worth (KDFW) and Portland (KPDX), with assignments made by seniority during the first week of ground school; the route structure lets most pilots be home every day during their workweek. Candidates who already have 1,200+ hours are directed to apply as Captain instead.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the Pilatus PC-12 as Second in Command (First Officer) on Part 135 charter and Essential Air Service flights throughout the United States, in both executive and commuter configurations on scheduled airline service.
- Fly a two-crew operation grounded in Crew Resource Management and standardization, using checklists, callouts, flows and the company's Standard Operating Practices and Flight Standards Manual, operating into a wide range of airports across varied climates and levels of service.
What We Offer
Full pay from the first day of ground schoolbase pay of $33.33 per flight hour with a 75 flight-hour monthly guarantee ($30,000/year). Domicile options at Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth and Portland, with most pilots home every day during their workweek.
Requirements
- a Commercial Pilot Certificate with an instrument rating and a First Class Medical.
- Total time of 700-1,100 hours depending on hiring need, plus 100 hours of point-to-point cross-country time and 25 hours of night point-to-point cross-country time.
- Pilots are preferred to live near their domicile/base.
- Preferred experience: six months of employment experience as a pilot, 50 hours of turbine time and 75 hours of instrument time.
- Applicants must be able to obtain an airport SIDA badge by passing a full threat assessment and background check.
